hey everyone, i was on here a few years ago and was trying to get involved in some enduro's in my area(well district 5 area anyway i guess). but like i said it's been a while and i've lost all the information that i had on how to even get started. i don't even remember the closest club around me or anything like that but i need to get involved in this as soon as i can, i'm not getting any younger and this has become pretty much my full time passion. any pushes, shoves, or full on kicks in the butt in the right direction would be greatly appreciated... i'd also love to find someone to ride a couple of my first enduro's with, possibly on the same minute but i'll post that in the ridding buddy forum... thanks everyone for the patience and the help.

Download an entry form of the enduro you wish to participate in. Then mail it out, they will send you back your number and resets speed averages etc. Make sure you have a bike with registration an insurance all that good stuff.Make sure you have a computer or a watch or some kind of time keeping and a roll chart holder. Bring an extra can for gas. Show up to the enduro, make sure your a little bit early (just in case) throw you gas can on the gas truck, go to the start meet the guys on your row chat a little bit. Then have fun. Hope this helps a little bit

Join a local club.

I have learned so much from the guys in my club. Plus, you can become riding buddies with your clubmates.

Closest clubs to you are South Penn Enduro Riders or Susquehanna Off Road Riders. Their contact informatio is listed in the "Contact a Club" section on the ECEA home page. The best way to get into the sport is through a club. It also allows you to give back to the sport and help keep it going.

thanks everyone, you guys rock wink.gif i'm all for joining a club, i think that would be the best route to take too and i'd love nothing more than to be part of something and do all i can to take care of this sport. thanks again

edit - just did some checking, seems SPER and SORR are both still about 2 hours away from me... doesn't seem like there's too much around Blair county...
