Hi, I am selling a 300 EXC complete top end. I bought this to convert my 2006 250 XCW to a 300. I was just about to send the cylinder out to have it replated and have a piston matched to it and then I bought a 2008 300 XCW.
So I thought I would post it here first to see if any one was interested.
I verified with KTM USA that it will fit model years from 2004 to 2008, it is plug and play! The only thing that is missing is the power valve covers.
I am asking $375 plus shipping. These are selling USED from $550 to $850 as we speak. Thanks for looking!
P.S. I have other 250/300 parts for sale. I have a set of used 2008 front and rear stock rotors asking $110 plus shipping, a few FMF Turbine Core II's, some EE Skid Plates. I am looking for some parts, maybe we can barter!
Regards,
Scott

Scott: Is the 300 cylinder a brand new 06 unit?

Hi Mike, how are you?
It is not a brand new cylinder. It is a 05 250 EXC complete topend with powervalve. It has the powervalve pin welded also. These tend to fall out and ruin the motor, that is why it is welded.
I bought this to convert my 2006 250 XCW into a 300. He told me it came off of a running bike. I was just about to send it out to get it replated and a piston match to it. Then I ended up buying a 2008 XCW and I am going to sell my 2006 and the top end to.
The plating is worn off of the exhaust side of the cylinder, my sons RM 65 cylinder looked the same right before I sent it out to get replated, the bike had a lot of compression.
I just wanted to start with a new topend.

Scott

Hi John, yes the bike is available. I am going to post the bike for sale today here on the ECEA and KTM Talk. I haven't had the chance to get it ready until yesterday and have to take pictures later today after two soccer games.
Give me a call 201-274-6274 and I can give you the low down on the bike. Thanks,
Scott
