Any idea why it was taken apart? Can you post a pic or two of this interesting sounding Winter project?

Not real sure,, but the PO seemed to have 3-4 bikes taken apart at his place.also had a boat in same condition,, Said he wanted to do something to the engine so he took it out and apart then up to t&c they said to do a full rebuild would be 2k or more,, so it went in the box.. not real sure why he thought it needed it tho.. Bottom end seems good.. might be worth splitting the cases and checking out since its down to that point tho..

I saw this on advrider.com and tried to resist.
I already have a 1996 620RXC and a 1996 400RXC.
Your advrider ad mentioned it needed a pipe and some other
odds and ends pieces. I probably have most of them.
If the others crap out, send me an email.
email me directly because I'm rarely on here.

Hey Dennis,,
Sent some pics out to you,, lots of interest so far,, and multiple "I'll take it" but after the last bike I sold I have learned you dont hold anything until cash is in hand.. so Its still there.. I just need a few parts to bring my old bike to modern,, and a new heat source for my basement,, so I can use all the exercise equipment I have.. I hope to be back on a bike by the sandy lane,, That is my goal,, That is where I was heading when I was in my wreck,, so If I can at least start that race I'll be happy..
Thanks,
Steve
