ECEA Scholarships
Investing in the Next Generation of Riders
Each year, the East Coast Enduro Association awards scholarships to recognize achievement by ECEA members. We are proud to offer two annual scholarships named in honor of two individuals who gave so much to our community.
Applications and all supporting documents must be emailed or submitted no later than August 31, 2026.
2026 ECEA Skip Stoner Memorial Scholarship Program
Up to two $500 scholarships available
Each year, the East Coast Enduro Association (ECEA) will award up to two $500 scholarships to recognize achievement by an ECEA member in Skip Stoner's memory. Skip was a mentor to many kids over the years. He and his family would open their shop, home, and hearts to help others. In return we are honored to present an annual scholarship in his name.
All applicants for these scholarships:
- Must be an immediate ECEA club family member e.g. self, spouse, or child of; and
- Must be pursuing or planning to earn a degree and/or certification at an institution, trade, or technical school in the 2026–2027 scholastic year; and
- Must be a current competitor or have an immediate ECEA family member (in good standing) who has also participated in at least 25% of the events run in either the 2025 ECEA Enduro Series and/or Hare Scrambles Series — OR — an active participating member in an ECEA Club or ECEA Committee.
2026 Deadline: August 31, 2026
Scholarship applications and supporting documents must be emailed or submitted no later than August 31, 2026.
Required Documentation
Letters of Recommendation
Two letters of recommendation are required. One shall be from your ECEA club's president (if applicable) and/or the others should be from a worthy individual who can describe your participation and/or involvement within the ECEA community. They may mail or email their letters to the ECEA Scholarship Committee via ecea.secy@verizon.net or you can upload them with your application submission.
Proof of Enrollment
Proof of Enrollment as a student in a post secondary institution. This can be a paid tuition bill or a schedule showing semester dates. Please upload or send to: ecea.secy@verizon.net.
2026 ECEA Mike Little Memorial Scholarship Program
Up to two $500 scholarships available
Each year, the ECEA will award up to two $500 scholarships to recognize achievement by ECEA members in our past ECEA officer, Mike Little's memory. Mike always felt deeply about the youth in our series. In return we are honored to present an annual scholarship in his name.
All applicants for these scholarships:
- Must be an ECEA club member; and
- Must be pursuing or planning to pursue a full-time post-secondary course of study in a degree/certification program at a United States college/institution in the 2026–2027 scholastic year or employed full-time while attending school part-time; and
- Must have participated in at least 25% of the events run in either the 2025 ECEA Enduro Series and/or Hare Scrambles Series or an active participating member of their ECEA club or an ECEA Committee.
